SmarterFox is a free OpenSource FireFox add-on that helps you to speed up common searching tasks like searching on Google, Yahoo, Wikipedia etc. SmarterFox once installed has a lot of features that help you extend your search capabilities to find the information quickly and efficiently. Its features can be invoked or turned off using the options dialog box.</p>
<p>Conversion of text links into clickable urls, search bubble appears when you highlight text, shows Google results automatically in the awesomebar, automatic copy of text are some of its features. Search engines can be configured using the Quick launcher which can be invoked by default using Ctrl+Space key combination.</p>

<p><a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/8644" target="_blank">Selection Links</a> &#8211; A FireFox Add-on can open Multiple links in separate FireFox tabs and can start multiple downloads just by selecting those links and clicking the desired option to either open those links or download them.</p>
<p>It is still an experimental add-on but I am yet to encounter any problems. It saves a lot of hours of clicking all those links one by one; specially for those who do internet research work.</p>
<p>All you need to do is install the add-on and restart FireFox, select the links you want to open/download, right click and select either Selection Open or Selection Download, it will open/start downloading the selected links. Works with latest FireFox version. It is Smart. Simple and Extremely useful.</p>
